ASEAN coronavirus updates (regular updates by country)

Brunei

  • Brunei saw 400 new cases on April 4, taking the total to 136,374 cases amid 213 deaths.
  • Brunei recorded 544 new cases on April 3, bringing the tallies to 135,974 cases amid 213 deaths.
  • Brunei reported 515 new cases and three deaths on April 2, taking the totals to 135,430 cases and 213 deaths.

Cambodia

  • Cambodia saw 35 new cases on April 4, bringing the total to 135,782 cases amid 3,054 deaths.
  • Cambodia saw 33 new cases on April 3, taking the total to 135,747 cases amid 3,054 deaths.
  • Cambodia reported 32 new cases on April 2, bringing the total to 135,714 cases amid 3,054 deaths.

Indonesia

  • Indonesia reported 1,661 new cases and 61 deaths on April 4, bringing the tallies to 6,021,642 cases and 155,349 deaths.
  • Indonesia recorded 1,933 new cases and 47 deaths on April 3, taking the totals to 6,019,981 cases and 155,288 deaths.
  • Indonesia saw 2,300 new cases and 77 deaths on April 2, bringing the tallies to 6,018,048 cases and 155,241 deaths.

Laos

  • Laos saw 1,038 new cases and three deaths on April 4, taking the totals to 184,598 cases and 682 deaths.
  • Laos recorded 1,593 new cases and six deaths on April 3, bringing the tallies to 183,560 cases and 679 deaths.
  • Laos reported 2,404 new cases and four deaths on April 2, taking the totals to 181,967 cases and 673 deaths.

Malaysia

  • Malaysia reported 12,380 new cases and 30 deaths on April 3, bringing the tallies to 4,246,467 cases and 35,099 deaths.
  • Malaysia recorded 14,692 new cases and 56 deaths on April 2, taking the totals to 4,234,087 cases and 35,069 deaths.
  • Malaysia saw 17,476 new cases and 30 deaths on April 1, bringing the tallies to 4,219,395 cases and 35,013 deaths.

Myanmar

  • Myanmar recorded 66 new cases and one death on April 3, taking the total to 611,875 cases and 19,433 deaths.
  • Myanmar reported 135 new cases and one death on April 2, bringing the total to 611,587 cases amid 19,432 deaths.
  • Myanmar saw 87 new cases and one death on April 1, taking the total to 611,674 cases amid 19,431 deaths.

Philippines

  • The Philippines reported 276 new cases and 22 deaths on April 4, taking the totals to 3,679,761 cases and 59,365 deaths.
  • The Philippines saw 690 new cases and 19 deaths on April 3, bringing the tallies to 3,679,629 cases and 59,343 deaths.
  • The Philippines recorded 373 new cases and 26 deaths on April 2, taking the totals to 3,678,968 cases and 59,324 deaths.

Singapore

  • Singapore recorded 3,743 new cases and four deaths on April 3, taking the totals to 1,109,744 cases and 1,276 deaths.
  • Singapore saw 4,563 new cases and two deaths on April 2, bringing the tallies to 1,106,001 cases and 1,272 deaths.
  • Singapore reported 5,010 new cases and two deaths on April 1, taking the totals to 1,101,438 cases and 1,270 deaths.

Thailand

  • Thailand saw 24,892 new cases and 97 deaths on April 4, taking the totals to 3,736,487 cases and 25,515 deaths.
  • Thailand recorded 26,840 new cases and 97 deaths on April 3, bringing the tallies to 3,711,595 cases and 25,418 deaths.
  • Thailand reported 28,029 new cases and 96 deaths on April 2, taking the totals to 3,684,755 cases and 25,321 deaths.

Vietnam

  • Vietnam recorded 48,717 new cases and 42 deaths on April 4, taking the tallies to 9,867,045 cases and 42,642 deaths.
  • Vietnam reported 50,730 new cases and 37 deaths on April 3, bringing the totals to 9,818,328 cases and 42,600 deaths.
  • Vietnam saw 65,619 new cases and 37 deaths on April 2, taking the tallies to 9,716,282 cases and 42,563 deaths.
