Philippines’ Public Holidays for 2023
The Philippines’ public holidays are announced the year before by the government in power. Public holidays in 2023 are divided into three categories: regular public holidays, special non-working days, and additional special non-working days.
As a predominantly catholic country, the Philippines’ biggest holidays are typically around Easter and Christmas.
Notably, with a large Muslim population in the south, a number of key Islamic holidays are also observed.
